Default Help and Advice

Hi all I have an apartment on a residential complex and recently a gym has opened right beneath my apartment. Although the noise is not that great the music "if you can call it that" is all boom boom base you know the type. This starts at 7.00am and goes on until 11.00pm. It was nice to see the room being rented out finally, but last week my 1 year old granddaughter was out and woken every morning by this vibrating sound that just carry through the walls and floor into our apartment. Are there any laws or rules that he must abide by especially as it directly beneath a residential complex. Your help would be much appreciated. By the way the community is not that helpful towards British people when they have a problem and often lie about what they can do to help, which is another story. Thanks in advance.
